Temple Foundations

To begin with, it should be fully and firmly understood that within this website, the Christ that we follow, is actually and fundamentally The Karast, which is The Christ, seen Through the Spectacles of Ethiopia.

Nevertheless, it should also be noted that other than this difference in translation, of this term from the English, Christ; through to the Greek, Kristos; and back to its original source in Egyptian, Karast.

We do however, follow the exact same Christ, revealed to all humanity and the world, but we see him, differently and uniquely.

The use of this word Karast therefore, is not done merely as a translation of the word Christ back to its origins. Although it does also mean to anoint or to be a anointed.

However, this word Karast, is used and engaged within this website, as an informed choice, to restore the cultural, spiritual and cosmological importance and significance of this most ancient of terms and concepts, back into its original African context.

The Temple of Yahshuah, is founded upon the faith, the witness and the testimony of two specific individuals, who are also the two pillars and the two cornerstones, which hold up and protect the structural integrity of this Temple, Yahshuah himself being the Head Corner Stone.

These two witnesses are;

The Right Honourable and Most Excellent Marcus Moziah Garvey

&

His Imperial Majesty Emperor Haile Selassie I, of Ethiopia.

It is upon their testimonies specifically, and as a direct consequence of their witness and ministries that the Temple of Yahshuah exists, was founded and is now presented and offered here today, in the 21st Century.

"The Church is not merely a building. The Church is the faithful fulfilment of the Christian life and its requirements.  Thus, as the name applies to the buildings so is our heart The Church in which God dwells.

The Temple of Yahshuah Website, is committed to raising peoples awareness of the; Person, Nature, Gospel Message & Mission of Our Lord God & Saviour,

Yahshuah Karast Mesu aka, Jesus Christ The Messiah.

Specifically, as he has presented, manifested and revealed himself, in the lives and through the experiences of African (Black-skinned) people, over the millennia.

The Temple of Yahshuah, have also enlisted Temple Guards, to Guard this Temple over the 24 hour cycle of each day.

These Temple Guards, are actually 25 individuals in total, all of whom have been selected, specifically due to their own unique Temple contributions (Life), towards the history & heritage of Christ & Christianity, in Africa and amongst African people, throughout the ages.

These Temple Guards, were also Great Defenders & Upholders of the Unique African Christian Faith & Tradition that has survived, against all the odds and opposition, throughout the ages.

The Temple Christology, is literally, how we see & study the Christ. Within this website this view & study is called The Science of Karastology.

Fundamentally, our Christology is founded upon the direct teachings of The Right Honourable Marcus Moziah Garvey.

Specifically in relation to his views on; God, The Son of God, The Holy Spirit of God and upon Creation, Religion & Spirituality.

In addition to this foundation, we also subscribe to and Confess, the Unique Christian Faith of the Ancient Universal Oriental Orthodox Apostolic Church. Culminating in five of the oldest Christian churches on earth, which includes;

The Ethiopian, The Coptic-Egyptian, The Syrian, The Armenian & The Indian-Malankara, Ancient Christian Orthodox Churches.

It is important that visitors understand exactly why, we use the name Yahshuah? Plus its special significance & relevance in African history & culture.

The name Yahshuah is totally African-Centred.

The Science of Karastology is literally the study or science of; The Nature, The Person & The Purpose of The Christ, specifically and uniquely from how he has  revealed himself, and is manifest, within the history, culture, spirituality and cosmology of African people. 

The Judgement Scene, after the Incarnation of the Word, Made Flesh, Yahshuah & the Two Witnesses

Although keeping in-line with the ancient tradition and iconography, we have included the image of Marcus Garvey, who stands as Anubis, the embalmer, who prepares the deceased for burial and therefore also awakens the Dead, to lead them to their Judgement.  Then stands Anubis the weigher of the Heart and Ammit the Devourer, awaiting the verdict of Thoth (Tehuti), The Mind & Consciousness, who is also the Scribe.  Thoth stands with the Book of Life, seen in Revelation.

The Deceased is then led by Haile Selassie I, who stands as Heru (Horus), the King & Son on Ra. He was a Light in the world, which now leads the Deceased, in the Judgement, to the Karast (Christ), Yahshuah, who sits on the Throne as Asar (Osiris), The Judge. who has all Authority, Power & Glory, given him by the Father. Behind Yahshuah stands, Amy Jacques Garvey (Nephthys) & Empress Menen (Isis or Hathor), devote wives of Garvey & Selassie, and devote sisters of Yahshuah. In front of Yahshuah, stands The Four Holy Angels, also in Revelation, representing the four winds and corners of the earth, from which the lost children have been gathered.
